The change of Chef and the timing of the appointment obviously has an impact on accolades awarded by the AA and Michelin and whilst one never likes to lose an award such as a Michelin Star, we are delighted with the food being cooked by our newly appointed chef Olly Pierrepont.
At Driftwood, we have always cooked for our guests rather than inspectors and our kitchen team, under Olly’s leadership, will continue to produce great food, sourced locally and sustainably with the sole intention of making our guests happy.
We would like to thank Michelin and the AA for their support over the years and look forward to continuing our relationship with both organisations.
